Overview
A brushless DC fan removes the carbon brushes and the maintenance they imply. Commutation is electronic, so the only wearing parts are the bearings — which is why this range is used where the fan runs for long periods and access for service is difficult.
The series covers 12 V and 24 V with several speed tiers. Higher tiers move more air and make more noise; the table gives both, so the choice can follow the thermal margin rather than the loudest number on the page.
Where it fits
- Telecom and network equipment
- Industrial control cabinets
- Battery and energy storage systems
- Equipment with limited service access

Selection and installation notes
Brushless does not mean maintenance-free. Bearings still wear, and dust on the impeller still causes imbalance. Plan an inspection interval that matches the environment.
Electronic commutation can produce a small amount of electrical noise. On sensitive equipment, keep the fan wiring away from signal cables and use a decoupled supply.
FAQ
What is the advantage over a brushed DC fan?
No brushes to replace and no brush dust. Life is limited by the bearings rather than by brush wear.
Can it run continuously?
Yes, that is the intended duty. Confirm the ambient temperature at the fan, because heat sets bearing life.
Does it need a controller?
No. It runs from a DC supply; speed control, where offered, uses voltage or PWM depending on the model.
Are 12 V and 24 V versions both available?
Yes, both are listed in the specification table with their airflow and noise figures.
