Overview

The general-purpose member of the small DC range: a straight-through axial fan that fits inside equipment and runs from the DC rail already on the board. It is the version to start with when there is no specific noise or pressure requirement.

Models differ in voltage, bearing and speed. The table lists airflow, static pressure and noise for each, so the selection can be made on delivered airflow rather than on the frame size alone.

Where it fits

  • Power supplies and DC/DC converters
  • Machine control boards and drives
  • Telecom and network cabinets
  • Small equipment where a mains fan is not practical

Selection and installation notes

Check the startup voltage and inrush current before connecting several fans to one rail. DC fans draw more at start than at steady state, and a weak supply can leave them stalled.

A finger guard is worth fitting even inside equipment: the blades keep turning briefly after power is removed and are easy to touch during service.

FAQ

What is the difference between this and the quiet version?

This range is selected for general cooling; the quiet version trades airflow for lower sound pressure at the same size.

Can I run it from a battery?

Yes, within the voltage range in the table. Check the startup current and the low-voltage behaviour as the battery discharges.

Is PWM control supported?

Only on models built for it. A two-wire fan is controlled by supply voltage; a four-wire fan expects a PWM signal.

What is the lead time?

Confirmed with the quotation, together with the MOQ for the model and voltage you choose.
