Overview
A compact DC fan built for the two constraints that usually arrive together: very little space, and a noise limit. The frame is small enough to sit inside instrument housings and hand-held equipment, and the blade and motor are tuned for low sound pressure rather than maximum airflow.
The series covers 5 V and 12 V versions with sleeve or ball bearings. Which one fits depends on duty: sleeve bearings are the quieter choice at low speed in a clean, horizontal position, while ball bearings tolerate heat and any mounting angle.
Where it fits
- Instrument and analyser housings
- Hand-held and portable equipment
- Small power supplies and chargers
- Enclosures where fan noise is audible to the user

Selection and installation notes
Low noise comes from low speed, so treat the airflow figure as modest and check that it clears the heat load. If the enclosure is sealed, the fan will recirculate warm air rather than cool it.
Mount the fan on a resilient pad where possible. In small housings, the panel often radiates more noise than the fan itself.
FAQ
Sleeve or ball bearing?
Sleeve for quiet, horizontal, low-temperature installations; ball for higher ambient, vertical mounting or continuous duty.
Can the speed be controlled?
With voltage or PWM control depending on the model. Confirm the control method before designing the electronics around it.
Is 5 V or 12 V available?
Both versions are listed in the specification table. Choose by the rail you already have and check the startup current.
Will it fit an existing cut-out?
Check the frame dimensions and fixing centres in the table against the opening, not just the nominal size.
