Overview

A small-frame axial fan for panels where the heat load is modest but continuous. The series uses a 13 W motor across all eight models, so the choice comes down to voltage, frequency and how much noise the location allows.

Airflow runs from 37 to 58 m³/h and noise from 28 to 40 dB(A): the fast tier turns at 2,800 rpm on 60 Hz and moves the most air, while the slower tier stays near 1,800 rpm and is the quiet option. Both 115 V and 230 V versions are available at 50 Hz and 60 Hz.

Where it fits

  • Control and distribution cabinets with a small heat load
  • Instrument housings and analyser enclosures
  • Small machine covers where the fan mounts to a panel cut-out
  • Equipment that runs continuously at low noise

Selection and installation notes

Because the motor is the same across the range, airflow differences come from speed and blade loading. If the cabinet has a filter, size on the filtered airflow: the free-air figure will overstate what reaches the components.

The slow tier is the better starting point for cabinets in offices and laboratories. Check the internal temperature over a full duty cycle before accepting it, rather than relying on the airflow number alone.

FAQ

What is the difference between the HS and MS models?

HS models reach 2,300–2,800 rpm and move 47–58 m³/h. MS models run at 1,800–2,300 rpm, move 37–45 m³/h and are quieter.

Is it available in 115 V and 230 V?

Yes. HA922501 models are 115 V and HA922502 models are 230 V, each at 50 Hz and 60 Hz.

How much noise does it make?

Between 28 and 40 dB(A) at one metre, depending on speed and frequency. The 60 Hz HS version is the loudest.

Can it be speed-controlled?

With a suitable voltage controller, within the motor's limits. Confirm the controller type before ordering, and check the fan still starts reliably at the lowest setting you plan to use.
