Overview

This fan is the high-output version of the standard frame: the same opening and fixing pattern, but a faster motor and a blade profile that pushes more air through it. It suits enclosures where the heat load has grown faster than the space available to cool it.

Eight models cover 115 V and 230 V at 50 and 60 Hz in two tiers. The HS tier runs at 2,300–2,700 rpm and moves 96–112 m³/h at 39–42 dB(A); the MS tier runs at 1,800–2,300 rpm, moves 76–95 m³/h and stays at 31–36 dB(A). Power is 16 W or 21 W depending on the tier.

Where it fits

  • Cabinets with a heat load that a standard-speed fan cannot clear
  • Equipment retrofits where the opening stays the same but the load has increased
  • Machine enclosures that need a high airflow margin without a larger cut-out
  • Panels where noise is acceptable but temperature is not

Selection and installation notes

Higher speed buys airflow and costs noise: the HS tier is roughly 8–10 dB(A) louder than the MS tier at the same voltage. If the cabinet stands where people work, start with the MS tier and check the temperature with a data logger before moving up.

A fast fan pulls dust in faster as well. Pair it with a filter guard on the intake and keep the exhaust opening at least as large as the intake, or the fan will pressurise the enclosure and lose delivered volume.

FAQ

How much more air does the HS tier move?

The HS tier moves 96–112 m³/h against 76–95 m³/h for the MS tier, depending on voltage and frequency. The cost is roughly 8–10 dB(A) more noise.

Will it fit the same cut-out as a standard fan?

The series shares the standard frame and fixing pattern of its size. Confirm the hole spacing and depth against your existing panel before ordering, especially on retrofit work.

Can the speed be reduced?

With a suitable voltage controller, within the motor's limits. Reducing speed also reduces motor cooling, which matters at higher ambient temperatures.

What is the power consumption?

21 W for the HS models and 16 W for the MS models, at both 50 Hz and 60 Hz.
