Overview
A 150 × 150 × 50 mm axial fan built for enclosures where the opening is already fixed and the fan has to fill it. The frame is PBT thermoplastic in black with a UL94V-0 flammability rating, and the impeller is PBT with 30% glass fibre — a combination chosen for stiffness and flame resistance rather than for the lowest unit price.
The terminals are 0.5 mm, which suits standard push-on connectors. Electrical variants, including voltage and frequency, are confirmed per order: the frame size is fixed, but the motor fitted to it is not, so the airflow and noise figures follow the variant you choose.
Where it fits
- Cabinet and panel cooling where a 150 mm opening already exists
- Equipment housings that require flame-retardant plastics
- Machine covers and enclosures in dusty workshops
- OEM builds that standardise on one frame across a product line
Selection and installation notes
UL94V-0 applies to the plastic parts, not to the whole assembly. If the project needs a certified fan, tell us the standard at inquiry stage — the housing rating alone is not a fan certification.
Because the frame is deeper than a 25 mm fan, check the clearance behind the panel before ordering. A 50 mm depth fouls components that a thin fan would clear.
FAQ
What are the housing and impeller made of?
The housing is PBT thermoplastic in black with a UL94V-0 rating; the impeller is PBT with 30% glass fibre, also UL94V-0. Terminals are 0.5 mm.
What voltage is available?
The motor variant is confirmed per order. Tell us the supply, frequency and required airflow, and we will match a motor to this frame.
Does UL94V-0 mean the fan is certified?
No. It is a flammability rating for the plastic materials. Fan-level certifications are separate and model-specific; ask before ordering if the project requires one.
How much clearance is needed behind the panel?
The frame is 50 mm deep. Allow for the fan depth plus the connector and cable bend, and check that nothing sits directly behind the blades.
