Overview

This series is built around a dual ball bearing motor, the arrangement usually chosen when a fan has to run continuously, sit at an angle, or work in air warmer than the room. Two bearing sets carry the shaft instead of one sleeve, which is why the same frame is used in cabinets that are never switched off.

Eight models cover 115 V and 230 V at 50 and 60 Hz, in a higher-speed HB tier and a quieter MB tier. Published airflow runs from 24 to 39 m³/h, noise from 27 to 30 dB(A), and power draw is 13 W across the range.

Where it fits

  • Control and distribution cabinets that run continuously
  • Enclosures mounted at an angle or on a vertical door
  • Equipment in ambient air above normal room temperature
  • OEM panels where bearing life, not initial cost, sets the choice

Selection and installation notes

The HB tier reaches 2,700 rpm at 60 Hz and moves up to 39 m³/h; the MB tier runs at 1,700–2,200 rpm and is the quieter option where the heat load allows. Check the delivered airflow after the filter is fitted, not the free-air figure.

Dual ball bearings tolerate heat and any mounting angle better than sleeve bearings, but they are not a substitute for a correct ambient rating. Give us the air temperature at the fan when the cabinet sits in a hot plant room.

FAQ

Why choose a dual ball bearing fan instead of a sleeve bearing fan?

Ball bearings tolerate higher ambient temperatures, vertical or angled mounting and long duty cycles. Sleeve bearings are quieter at low speed but wear faster in heat and in non-horizontal positions.

What is the difference between the HB and MB models?

HB models run at 2,300 rpm (50 Hz) or 2,700 rpm (60 Hz) and move up to 39 m³/h. MB models run at 1,700 or 2,200 rpm, move 24–32 m³/h and are quieter.

Is 115 V or 230 V available?

Both. HA802501 models are 115 V and HA802502 models are 230 V, each in 50 Hz and 60 Hz versions.

Can it run continuously?

The dual ball bearing construction is intended for continuous duty. Confirm the ambient temperature at the fan, because life is set by heat as much as by hours.
