Overview
A kitchen exhaust fan that treats noise as part of the specification. The wheel and housing are arranged to reduce sound pressure, which matters when the fan sits above a dining area or beside a neighbouring building.
Kitchen duty also means grease. The unit is built for access and cleaning, and the motor is placed so that it is not sitting in the greasiest part of the airstream.
Where it fits
- Commercial kitchen hood exhaust
- Restaurant and hotel kitchens
- Food processing rooms
- Grease duct systems

Selection and installation notes
Cleaning access is not optional. A greasy impeller loses balance, and the vibration that follows damages the bearing before the airflow drops noticeably.
Check the discharge position. Exhaust must not re-enter the building through an intake, a window or a neighbouring opening.
FAQ
Can it handle grease?
Yes, with the right access and a cleaning routine. Grease coating the wheel is the main cause of failure in kitchen fans.
Is it fire rated?
Only models with a specific certificate are. We do not claim a fire rating without documentation.
How often should it be cleaned?
It follows the grease load and the kitchen's cleaning regime, not a fixed interval from us.
Can a silencer be added?
Yes, on the discharge. It adds resistance, so confirm the duty point with the silencer included.
