Overview
A small centrifugal blower for equipment where the air has to be pushed rather than fanned. The scroll turns the flow ninety degrees, so the outlet can be aimed at a heatsink, a filter or a duct stub inside the housing.
This version is tuned for low noise: the wheel runs slower than the high-speed range and the housing is stiffened against resonance. It suits equipment used near people, where a quiet internal airflow matters more than maximum volume.
Where it fits
- Compact medical and laboratory equipment
- Air treatment and filtration units
- Analysers and sampling instruments
- Equipment housings with a directed internal path

Selection and installation notes
Blowers are chosen for pressure. Compare the static pressure figure, not only the free-air airflow, and keep the outlet transition short and smooth.
A small blower at high back pressure is louder than its data sheet suggests. If noise matters, confirm the duty point with the actual restriction.
FAQ
Blower or axial fan?
Blower if the air has to pass a filter, a fin stack or a narrow internal channel. Axial if the path is short and open.
How is noise kept low?
Lower wheel speed and a stiffer housing. The trade is reduced airflow against the high-speed ranges.
Can it be mounted in any position?
Usually, but check the bearing type. Sleeve bearings wear faster when mounted vertically.
Can the outlet be ducted?
With a short hose or an adapter matched to the outlet. Avoid sharp steps, which cost pressure.
