Overview
A faster wheel in the same small housing. The high-speed version is chosen when the standard blower cannot hold the pressure the internal path creates — dense fin stacks, long internal channels, filters that load up over time.
The cost is noise and motor heat. At this speed the blower is audible, and the bearing choice matters more than in the slower range. Use it where the thermal margin is the constraint, not the sound level.
Where it fits
- Dense power electronics
- Medical devices with tight internal paths
- Filtration and sampling equipment
- Equipment with a high pressure drop

Selection and installation notes
Check that the housing can take the vibration. High-speed blowers transmit more into the mounting than the standard range, and a loose cover will rattle.
Confirm the supply margin: startup current is higher, and several blowers on one rail can slow each other down.
FAQ
When do I need the high-speed version?
When the standard blower cannot deliver the airflow at the pressure your internal path creates.
How much louder is it?
Noticeably louder than the standard range. Compare the noise column at the duty point, not at free air.
Which bearing should I choose?
Ball bearings for continuous duty, higher ambient or vertical mounting. Sleeve only for cool, horizontal, intermittent use.
Can it be speed-controlled?
With voltage or PWM control depending on the model. Confirm the method before designing the electronics.
