Quality
Quality Assurance
Most fan complaints are not failures. They are mismatches: a unit that was never the one on the drawing, a voltage that changed, a label on the wrong model. Inspection exists to catch that before the carton closes.
Our checks run against one reference — the approved sample or the signed data sheet. Nothing ships because it looks right.
The Inspection Flow
- Order review. Model, voltage, connector, label and quantity are matched to the approved specification before production is scheduled.
- Specification lock. Any open point — label text, packaging mark, accessory — is closed in writing. No open items at production start.
- In-process checks. Frame, impeller, motor and wiring are checked at assembly, so a wrong component is caught before the unit is closed.
- Pre-shipment inspection. Sampling against the approved sample, plus dimensional and functional checks, before packing and again before dispatch.
What Is Checked
Which checks apply depends on the model. A 120 mm DC fan and a 750 mm wall fan are not tested the same way.
| Check | What is verified | What it catches |
|---|---|---|
| Airflow and static pressure | Duty point against the approved data sheet, on the factory test rig | Wrong impeller, wrong motor speed, restricted duct path |
| Speed and input power | RPM and wattage at rated voltage | Winding deviation, wrong voltage variant, overloaded motor |
| Current draw | Running current at rated voltage | Short winding, incorrect capacitor, mechanical binding |
| Noise | dB(A) at one metre, compared with the approved sample | Bearing damage, imbalance, loose guard, rubbing |
| Dielectric strength | Insulation between winding and frame | Insulation damage, moisture, assembly fault |
| Insulation resistance | Resistance to frame | Contamination, damaged lead wire |
| Dimensions and hole pattern | Frame, mounting holes, overall depth | Units that will not fit an existing cut-out |
| Run-in and vibration | Short run-in with vibration check | Bearing noise, out-of-balance impeller |
When a Unit Fails a Check
- Hold the batch. The affected units are separated and the batch is stopped until the cause is identified.
- Rework or replace. The unit is corrected or replaced, then re-checked against the same reference — not against a new one.
- Record and report. The cause, the quantity affected and the corrective action are reported to you before dispatch.
Documents That Travel With the Order
- Packing list matched to the approved specification
- Data sheet and dimension drawing for each model shipped
- Available compliance documents, as copies from the manufacturer
- Inspection photos or video on request
- Label and packaging artwork file used for the run
Third-party inspection
You are welcome to appoint an inspection company. We will make the goods available at the factory before packing, provide the approved specification for comparison, and hold dispatch until the report is issued. Inspection fees are yours; scheduling is agreed when the order is placed.
Want the inspection record for your order?
Tell us which model and quantity you are considering. We will confirm what is checked on that model and what documentation comes with it.
